Fixed a problem with offline sections intermittently showing connection errors when the connection is poor.
Important! If you have been experiencing freezes while opening an article, this should be fixed now. It was not caused by Inoreader or Android update, but was an experiment ran by the Chromium team on a small percentage of users. Inoreader uses a component called WebView to render articles, and a now-disable experimental flag in this component was causing Inoreader to freeze.

Fixed a regression introduced in the previous version that caused crashes on start up in some cases.
Inoreader now supports Android 13 Themed icons. To enable Themed icons, long-press on your desktop and choose "Wallpapers and style", then scroll down and enable "Themed icons". This feature requires Android 13 and might not work with custom launchers.

We have improved the Discover section for easier navigation between the categories.
Introducing Tags dashboard. You can now easily manage your tags in a single place. You can now also pin/unpin tags from the sidebar. Unpinned tags will only show up in your dashboard and while tagging articles, while pinned tags will always be visible in the sidebar.

Facebook Login is now discontinued. If you have been using Facebook Login to access your Inoreader account, you will need to create a password. Tap on the "Forgot your password?" link on the login screen and follow the instructions. Once you have reset your password, you will be able to access your Inoreader account using your email address and new password.

Web feeds is a feature that allows you to follow websites that don't have an RSS feed or to monitor web pages for visual changes. You can set your Web Feeds on inoreader.com.
New feature: Notes and annotations! You can now add your own notes to every article and they will always be visible directly while browsing articles. You can access the notes by tapping the "Pen" button in the top right corner of the article.
With annotations (Pro feature) you can highlight a snippet inside the article and highlight it, then optionally add a note to it.
All your notes and annotations are now stored in a new section "Annotated" in the Library.
We are launching a completely new selection of feeds. To use it, just tap the + button in the sidebar and browse thousands of hand-picked trusted feeds organized into over 50 categories.
This version also introduces a totally revamped new-user experience allowing new users to explore the app before deciding to sign up for an Inoreader account.

New Pro feature: Cut the noise with duplicate filters!
Just open a folder's or feed's properties by swiping it to the right from the sidebar. You will see the new option to activate a filter for this folder or feed. Or if you prefer you can enable this option on your whole account by swiping the All articles section. You can choose to remove duplicates based on their titles and URLs. For titles you have the option to filter out "near duplicates", which will look for very similar headlines.
Search settings are now available. When you search for something, you can tap the settings icon to refine your search - choose a custom period, change the order of results or enable advanced boolean search with operators like AND, OR, etc.
We've also optimized the search engine a lot, so now search results should come up at least 2 times faster than before.
You can now view detailed information about feeds, folders, and tags, just like in the web version. Just swipe the feed/folder/tag in the sidebar and choose the option from the menu.
Feeds with issues are now marked as red in the sidebar.
You can now boost feeds (from feed information screen).
You can now control the folder's unread flag duration between 1 and 30 days from the folder information screen. Useful if you are only interested in news from the last days.
The power of Rules and Filtered feeds is now available on Android! Create and edit your Rules and Filters in an easy to use and fully functional interface.
Rules and Filters are a handy way to automate your content consumption. They are applied to incoming articles based on flexible conditions like keywords in the title, content, author or URL. You can use Rules to automatically star or tag articles, set up push notifications, email alerts and more. Filters can completely remove content for you.
